With films like The Desert of Forbidden Art and Exit thru the Gift Shop in recent months bringing awareness to contemporary art, Ben Banks Art is proud to open our doors to the throngs of people coming in May.
Ben Banks is the emerging California artist bringing his influence of California colors and mixing it with the historic influences of southern France to create a new and exciting take on abstract art in the Cote d’Azur. Using a special process; layering paint and materials, a secret washing technique, and using abrasion thru out the process and painting in warm and cool tones; he is creating his homage to the cycles of weathering, aging and time that effects and erodes the beautiful architecture that has been here for hundreds of years.
